Creative Training

When Drone Flight Becomes Visual Language

Two days of flight training for everyone who films with a drone. You practise smooth camera moves, precise flight lines and FPV, guided by an instructor who has been flying for live TV, events and industry for over ten years.

Two days: day 1 theory on camera systems and what they can do, day 2 hands-on flying. €999 incl. VAT, dates on request.

In brief

Creative Drone Skills is a two-day flight training for people who film with drones: day 1 covers camera systems in theory, day 2 is flight practice with cinematic moves, FPV and flying without GPS assistance. The course costs €999 including VAT; dates are arranged on request. The training is held in German.

What it's about

Flying you can feel in the shot

Good aerial footage is planned. You learn to fly a movement smoothly, to repeat it and to keep the right distance to your subject without going below safety distances.

Cine Control

Movement with intent

Speed, distance and flight line decide how a shot feels. You learn to choose them deliberately and to fly so that the second take looks like the first.

Spatial awareness

How do you stay oriented when terrain and background keep changing?

Proximity

How close are you allowed to get to your subject, and how close should you get?

Repetition

How do you fly the same line three times in a row?

FPV & Outdoor

FPV and Flying Without GPS

Without GPS the drone does not hold its position on its own. You practise holding it yourself, staying oriented and reacting correctly in an emergency. That is the basis for every FPV flight.

01Speed

Flying fast and still holding the line.

02Orientation

Holding position when GPS is no help.

03Abort

Knowing when no shot is worth the flight.

Recognizing the right light

The Light Won't Wait

Golden hour often lasts only a few minutes. If you have planned weather, sun position and flight path beforehand, you are ready when it comes.

Who is this for?

For Everyone Who Shoots With a Drone

Suited for creators, production companies, marketing teams and commercial pilots. You should already be able to take off, fly and land a drone safely.

Creators

You gain more control over the movement and timing of your footage.

Teams

Pilot, director and production speak the same language and know what is possible on set.

Pilots

You already fly safely and want to learn how to turn that into good footage.

The course costs €999 including VAT. There are no fixed dates; we arrange them with you after your enquiry.

Do I need a drone licence for the training?

The creative training does not replace an EU certificate. Which certificate you need for your shoots depends on the drone and the location; see the overview in the Academy.
